Reducing Home Energy Costs

Would you like to save 20-30% on your household energy bills? A series of free energy savings workshops are being offered by North Carolina Cooperative Extension and Central Electric.

Additional workshops will be offered:

December 1, 2008 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Lab, County Agriculture Building, 45 South Street, Pittsboro,
December 4, 2008 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Council on Aging, Siler City,
December 16 3:00 - 5:00 pm, Gathering Place, Fearrington Village.
At the end of the workshops participants have the opportunity to sign up for a comprehensive home energy audit by a professional auditor. As a result of a grant from the state Energy Office, the typical cost of $500 will be reduced to $100 for program participants.

Participants must qualify to receive an audit and some restrictions will apply. Central Electric members will receive an additional $50 reduction off the cost of the audit.
