BounceBack Kids, a non-profit in the Triangle area, is pleased to announce its new feature-rich Web site.
The Web site now reflects the growth the organization has experienced in the past year and has many new features including more pictures; feature stories of participants and volunteers; a monthly calendar; and immediate access to participation, volunteer and donation forms. The organization hopes that it is also very kid- and parent-friendly.
BounceBack Kids serves children who live in the Triangle and Triad areas of North Carolina, or are being treated at hospitals in the Triangle. The organization offers group basketball instruction at the Emily Krzyzewski Family Life Center and group and individual fitness training at Empower Personal Training.
Both facilities are located in Durham, N.C. and are accessible from all points in the Triangle.
In addition to monthly basketball and fitness activities, BounceBack Kids offers a wide variety of recreational and social events across the Triangle, a College Planning Guide, and "Support Services" assist participants and their families during hospital stays.
To participate in BounceBack Kids, a child must be between the ages of 3-21, have a serious medical condition, and have a doctor’s permission to participate in sports. For more information on BounceBack Kids and how to get involved, please contact Lisa at lisab@bouncebackkids.org or (919) 246-9100.
