Fog again impacts Central North Carolina Friday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a DENSE FOG ADVISORY. Widespread dense fog has formed across central North Carolina and will remain in the area through the mid-morning.
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If you're driving, slow down; you're advised to use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Mindy Hamlin with RDU said they have had a handful of flight cancellations, but its hard to determine if the fog is the reason.
