County services will be more convenient for North Raleigh residents, now that the new Wake County Human Services center is open.
The center is located on East Millbrook Road, near the Mini-City area off of Capital Boulevard.
The new location has about 10,000 square feet of space and offers services like child care subsidies, immunizations and community affairs programs. There is also space for a future Joblink center and health clinic.
"In this area, the Brentwood, Mini-City area, there's been a high population of folks needing our services, so this was a very good place for us to come out and be where folks need us," said center manager Kris Ramsundar.
The center will be open Monday through Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
