Two 71st High School students were arrested Thursday for bringing marijuana to school, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Witnesses told authorities they saw Justin Wilson, 17, handling a plastic bag filled with pot inside of a classroom.
When authorities arrived to the school, they found a second bag of marijuana in Wilson’s possession as well as a cell phone with text messages regarding a drug deal.
Authorities were able to connect the calls to Laurence Parks, 16.
Wilson is charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. He’s at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $1,000 bond. Both suspects will remain in jail until their court date.
