They may be serving thousands of miles from home, but our local men and women in uniform will be able to keep in touch with what's happening in Apex. This week the Apex Herald was sent overseas with well wishes from the Apex business community.

Joanne Bouchard, the Sales Representative for the Apex Herald, approached the local merchants around town with her idea of sending support and well wishes from the community. The merchants responded with great enthusiasm, and with that two full pages of well wishes developed. Joanne was able to find a contact through the USO, who emailed her the contact person in charge of the local soldiers.
