Do you say tomaaatoes? Tomoootoes? Maters? No matter what you call them, they are the jewels of the garden/farm. Growing up all of my life with a big garden, it was always a big deal if we had tomatoes by July 4th. Next came the fresh loaf of bread and Duke's mayo for the long awaited tomatoe sandwich. Come celebrate your freedom to eat locally grown produce with us at the market this weekend. Bring your bread and mayo with you if you can't wait 'til you get home. :)- Along with tomatoes, they'll be corn (white and yellow), squash, green beans, peppers (hot and not), eggplant, cucumbers, okra, and much more! If you are not sure how to cook the vegetables once you get them home, just ask the vendor. More than likely they'll have a tasty way to cook up those great veggies.
They'll also be other stuff there too......honey, flowers, pasture raised meats, natural soaps, homemade breads and desserts, and much more. Bring a neighbor or friend to THE place to be on Saturday morning. YOUR WF Farmer's Market where we are always pet and kid friendly.

Both our customers and our vendors have asked us to start the Market earlier in May,” explains Kelly Foss, Downtown Farmers’ Market director. “After discussing opening day with many of our participating farmers, it was determined that they would be ready to start selling their products, therefore we would be able to open soone.
