GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA.....With the release tomorrow (Thurs. Oct. 22) of Windows7, Microsoft's new computer operating system, people are already wondering what changes it will bring and if it is a system that they need.
GCFLearnFree.org, the FREE computer and life skills training site, operated by Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, is prepared to answer those questions. In the computer training section, an explanation of Windows7 can be accessed and, by Thursday, two lessons, four to six videos and two blog articles will be added.
"We always want our training to be on the cutting edge of new developments," explained Dennis McLain, president of Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina. "Approximately 9,000 people access this website weekly, and they depend on the exceptional instruction they find here."
New content about Windows7 will be added over the next several weeks, so learners are encouraged to visit the site often to gain new insights into the operating system.
